So I was to pack my stuff in half an hour as a "security threat".

I also reported that unprotected HTML without stripping script could enable weired stuff. They did not see the problem.

I had a lot of problems for having reported mysql/shell/HTML injections.

I even got fired after reporting using base64encode instead of b64urlencode for JWT token in a very sensitive auth technology was kind of a problem. (40% failed auth when using GET method with REST)

I also had to crack a poorly made web gateway payment by a national ISP because the CTO of the company went on vacation and we needed to renew the key to process the payment. And I don't even like or am good at security. I just have the basic knowledge.

So yes I know web based technologies, they are kind of the realm of the incompetent as far as I am concerned. Especially when it comes to security.
julhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06120175983940571527noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1561578844529874564.post-14384743119676201132016-01-31T18:28:13.987-05:002016-01-31T18:28:13.987-05:00@chris Kringle
I have been pioneering web techno...@chris Kringle

I have been pioneering web technologies. I was designing, installing and coding the application and helping make the move to LAMP as a consultant (~2000) when I was a junior. I even was pushing stuff like LDAP for authentication. The first strongly typed secured NoSQL database before it was even cool to use NoSQL.

I have been working for web agencies 5 years and was taught CSS/js by some of what I consider the best JS/CSS specialists (carré noir/alsa creations). I need no LESS/SASS frameworks.

I have been also working for national ISP, so I also have a very acute understanding of the costs that are overkill. I was in the business unit making pricing and costing.

I was using perl asynchronuously to parse and interact with web pages to compare insurance prices with a PHP front, or date girls on dating sites before REST was even invented.

I have worked as a freelance for 3 years and done web with C#, php, Perl, Mason, Zend, python (turbogears, flask, django), raw HTML + JS, CMS, drupal, wordpress, joomla... I probably have a greater understanding of web app than you can imagine.

I self hosted myself for 15 years until I emigrated

I am a hipster of web based applications.

You cannot imagine how much can be done and how much people lack of imagination and knowledge. julhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06120175983940571527noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1561578844529874564.post-33530726738453392492016-01-31T17:39:27.147-05:002016-01-31T17:39:27.147-05:00You apparently have no understanding of web techno...You apparently have no understanding of web technologies. I have worked with Tcl/tk and it would suck for developing web sites and web applications.

As for elviejo79, you also don't seem to understand the technology. You can development with just HTML and CSS without knowing any of the other technologies. Sure you can expand into other areas, but things like Angular and Sass and all that other junk is overkill. But you appear to have a need to complicate everything to nth degree.Chris Kringlehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11019850600242604498noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1561578844529874564.post-10322914182654894032016-01-31T17:23:38.531-05:002016-01-31T17:23:38.531-05:00What is tcl/tk's mobile story? What is tcl/tk's mobile story?airfoilhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02689322633472390922noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1561578844529874564.post-42960313603199016782016-01-31T17:22:11.371-05:002016-01-31T17:22:11.371-05:00Sad but true....
